I have also been doing a lot of personal development and soul-searching. I will tell you that going through this 200 hour yoga teacher training has definitely been a journey of self discovery. With every assignment I have been able to see past my BS and Continue reading Mission Statement

Friday Five- Friday the 13th Edition

Welcome to Friday!! We made it, so lets give ourselves a golf clap. It has been a particularly rough week as I had a migraine for 4 days. Thankfully Friday has me feeling so much better!! This episode has left me feeling rather dissatisfied with my current pharmaceutical treatment so I will be researching and exploring other avenues of treatment and prevention. Just a little old 5K with one hill…lessons from the Brasstown Bald Buster

“Just a little old 5K with just one hill” That is how the Brasstown Bald Buster 5K advertises their race. This race is held annually every December in Blairsville, GA. Going Loco on Daufuskie Island. LocoMotion Day 1 Recap!

When people ask me what I am doing for the weekend, they qualify “other than running”. So what does a runner do when they are told that they can’t run? Cry? Scream? Throw things? Eat Ben and Jerry’s in your pajamas on the couch Continue reading That Crazy Sock Girl
